Information about campusalam.
1. Respect
The Campusalam community is about learning from each other and seeking the truth together. Respect others as fellow human beings, and insist that you also be respected. Discuss, debate and disagree on ideas while also respecting the person you disagree with. The Golden Rule of posting is this: Don't post comments about others that you would not want them to post about you.
2. Honesty and Accuracy
*Represent yourself accurately. This one is simple: be yourself. We ask that everyone uses their real names, ages and general locations with their profiles. You do not have to display this information to other members of the community, but you do have to register your profile with it. This provides accountability for our conduct. Please do not use offensive or false user names, and do not make multiple profiles.
*Represent others accurately. When you mention another person and what they have said or written, make sure it is accurate and verifiable.
3. Privacy
By honouring privacy, we maintain a vibrant online community of trust. Please take extreme care in giving out personal data about yourself or others, and refrain from harassing other members with unwanted messages or attention.
4. Netiquette
Good manners (adaab) are not just about what we say, but how we say it. Discussion that is civil, tasteful and appropriate makes the community stronger. Flaming (sending a hostile message in order to insult a person or group of people), trolling (intentionally upsetting or offending others), and spamming (sending multiple unwanted messages to other users) interrupt the conversation and disturb the peace.
5. Shared Responsibility
Together we keep the community ethical. If you see content that you think is inappropriate according to these Community Standards or our Terms of Service, flag it. Flagged items will be hidden from view until a Campusalam Team member can decide on whether that post is appropriate. Please refrain from flagging items that you disagree with (this goes back to Standard #1:Respect). Flag items that are offensive or unethical.
