Once again, I take issue with your reference to our mosques being ‘black holes’. To use such a blanket statement in such a blasé manner is offensive to me as a Muslim. I fear your rhetoric is far too often guilty of antagonizing well meaning Muslims. I sincerely suggest you refrain from hostile language and generalizing about Muslims, as instead of improving problems you yourself will become a part of it.
If people are quibbling over the legality of trivia as opposed to the more important matters in your opinion, it isn’t appropriate to attack them; you will only succeed in alienating them. Instead, show by example.
As students of knowledge it is not fitting to fall prey to being in judgement of who best defines priority in these matters thereby causing possible cleavage instead of encouraging unity. In my humble opinion the greatest injustices have been and continue to be oxygenated due to our disunity.
Let us all work together in what we are all best at to create a harmonious life in the world. We all have different abilities, talents and ways in which we can benefit humanity; like the fingers on the hand. It’s through the variety of efforts that we can reach a better place for all; but to do that we need to respect the difference in the work of others, and be unified under the umbrella of ‘working for a better world’. That’s the priority ïŠ.
So next time your in a debate, don’t generalize at the expense of we Muslims, or use suggestive remarks of vulgarity and please, please get your fiqh right when it comes to who is considered to be or not to be a Muslim (that shouldn’t have been the question!).
Remember, tolerance isn’t a one way thing; it cuts both ways. Ws

farah77 - we can be under cautious and we can be over cautious - police in class rooms may fall into the latter? Imaan_99 I agree Islam is so colourful, we cant generalise - united or unique or both?
Debate is a good way to defend yourself whether u are in a classroom or a courtroom! sometimes i think there should be POLICE in classrooms as well! cause u never know WHEN ur fellow student can take his/her gun out and shoot you whether u r in hallway or the library! u know people have behaviour problem cause their parents never brought them up in the right way!
