FOSIS Video Competition Vote Here

Congratulations to our four finalists, and thanks to all 14 entries for making the competition so fierce. On to the FOSIS Conference!

Voting has now closed.

The four finalist videos are:

Another View - Unstoppable version (Southampton)
The Good, the Bad & the HARAM!(Nottingham Trent)
Freshers Week 2010 (Imperial College London)
Cambridge Isoc EIW Trailer 2010 (Cambridge)

Who will be the winner of the competition? Join us at the FOSIS Annual Conference on 19 June when a panel of judges and the audience will choose the Best ISoc video.

How will the winner be decided? The video judges and the audience will base their choices on five criteria:

FOSIS Video Competition Judging Criteria

1. Clarity of Message: Does the video have a clear and unifying message? Does it successfully deliver this message?
2. Technical Merit: Do the sound/video demonstrate technical proficiency? Do the sound and production quality fit the message?
3. Appropriate Length: Is the length appropriate to communicate the message? Should the video have been shorter? Did you want more? More points for the latter, less for the aforementioned.
4. Creativity: Does the video demonstrate creativity, either the video have great screen play, directing, acting and/or excellent animation?
5. Positive Image of Muslims: We’re confident all the videos will show Muslims positively, but you decide to what degree!

Until then, have another look at all the excellent contestants.
