21st Jun 2010 to 28th Jun 2010 We Have A Winner: FOSIS Annual Video Competition

Both the finalist videos were brilliant in their own unique way; each had a different style and appeal. It is for these reasons that both the voting as well as the judge’s decision was so very close.

As part of the amazing line up at the FOSIS Conference yesterday, a live panel of judges picked the winning entry from the two most voted videos.

Imperial, ‘Be a Hero’ had 43% of the votes and Cambridge,‘If Khansberg did religion’ had 40% of the votes but the final winner was picked by an elite panel of judges.

Our Panel of Judges!

Faisal Hanjsa, FOSIS President,

Usman Ali, NUS VP Higher Education

Furqan Naeem, FOSIS Head of Services & Celebrity

With over 2000 views between them Imperial and Cambridge did very well in advance of yesterdays screening at the Annual FOSIS Conference.

The Winning Isoc received £100 towards any social media or video creation materials as well as the 2010 Title.

The Producers of the Winning Video received an Audio Recorder plus lots of Campusalam merchandise including, stationary, t shirt, mug, and poster as well as a Comedislam DVD.

The Runner up ISOC received £10 Gift Vouchers for WH Smith.

Both the finalist videos were brilliant in their own unique way; each had a different style and appeal. It is for these reasons that both the voting as well as the judge’s decision was so very close.

The Judges were asked to deliberate and come to a unanimous decision to give us our 2010 Winner.

The judges considered five main areas; demonstrating the theme clearly, innovation and creativity, projecting a positive image, having a broad appeal.

The Winner

The Winner of the FOSIS Video Competition 2010 is ‘Be a Hero’, Imperial College, London.

Congratulations!

I voted a few days ago but can't come back and see the results?

@ghosty, you should be able to see results even after you've voted. If they don't show up at first, hit refresh on your browser page. If that doesn't work, try another browser. As of now Cambridge is ahead. Where will the voting go over the weekend?

Well done to Imperial for winning! Great work, both of you.
