23rd Feb 2012 KCL MYTHBUSTERS

A Muslim. A Jew. A Christian. A Hindu and an Atheist. They present myths about their belief and communities. They then get tackled by some select intelligent students followed by the audience.

Please REGISTER HERE  to attend this groundbreaking event.


Each speaker will have 5 minutes to introduce common misconceptions or prejudices about their faith/community.

They will then be asked questions by select students whilst being in the "HOT SEAT" for 15 minutes.

Sample Questions/Statements (Not necessarily the ones which will be asked or put forward):

  1. Jews control the world
  2. Islam oppresses women
  3. The church has no moral authority left
  4. Hindus value their cows more than their women
  5. Religion is bloody and violent
  6. As long as there is religion, there will be no peace in Israel - Palestine.
