Health and Safety
Check with your university or your venue about any health and safety requirements or problems.
Consider these areas if they are relevant, and take action if necessary:
- Safe access
- Hazards for slipping, tripping, falling (including getting onto the speakers' platform)
- Fire exits, access to them, and how well marked they are
- Insurance liability, who is responsible, and is there cover
- First aid equipment and a trained or responsible person
- Any risks or hazards associated with particular activities you will be doing
